Summers to Remember

It's July and it's hot. So far I've gone canoeing and camping with my oldest down the Saco River in New Hampshire and Maine. I've camped for a week with the rest of my kiddos and a great group of families we love in Narragansett, Rhode Island. Tomorrow, I leave for Hermit Island in Maine. Next week I'm in Rhode Island again camping with two of my kids at a Boy Scout camp.

Needless to say, I don't shoot a lot in the summer. I have a handful of shoots sprinkled about. I really start up again in September. The summer, though - This is the time where I give myself to myself and my family. We spend a lot of lazy days at the beach or camping. Two of my kids have summer birthdays, we have a lot of scouting events, we volunteer for a free summer lunch program. We reconnect with those who are in school September-June and are finally home and available.  I'll never get these days back, so I want to make the most of them. My boys keep growing.  I'm hoping that one day I'll be camping with them and their families, just like my parents camp with us.

What's new? Well, I decided that I like being transparent. So you'll notice that my pricing is up on my website. As a consumer, I like to know what I'm getting myself into, financially speaking. I need to be able to prepare before I jump in. I can only assume that other consumers are like me. So, it's all there for ya'll to see.  I have worked it out to make sure that there is something for everyone. I have literally had women tell me that they have no interest in printing images and that they want them on their phone so they can just show people or send them to their partner.  I got that covered with the new social media and phone app package!

On the Investment page there is a What to Expect section which walks you through exactly that...what to expect from start to finish.  When we meet in person, sometimes hearing all the information for the first time is exciting AND overwhelming.  It can be so much that we forget so much of it.  I don't want to overwhelm you.  I want to educate you on the process.

The last thing is The Questionnaire. I put that up on my site as well because I get a lot of women who say, "I want to do a boudoir shoot!" and when I start asking them these questions they feel defeated because they never even stopped to think about it.  I want you to ask these questions and really think about what you want in your dream boudoir shoot.  Are you really ready right now?  I think I'm committing business suicide here, but if you are not fully prepared for your experience, I want you to take the time to become prepared.  A boudoir experience isn't for everyone. Just like iMacs and Coach purses and skydiving aren't for everyone.

I hope ya'll are having a summer to remember! If not, give a gift to yourself and start.
