Hi. I'm Erica.

I spent a long time not realizing my worth. I have always fought for everyone else's worth, though. I can remember being 6 or 7 and chasing a boy on the playground on behalf of a friend who felt that she was wronged. We were kids and I can't remember what the situation was, but I remember leaping over another child while chasing the wrongdoer.

It wasn't until I was in my 30s when I started to realize my self-worth. Once I realized it my world changed. That realization was transformational. My life is a constant work in progress. I am always learning and creating.

I've always loved photographing the world and the people in it. My journey through the different genres of photography made me realize that transformative, therapeutic photography is what resonates with me the most. This is why I photograph intimate portraits. People walk into the studio a bit nervous and unsure. They leave loving themselves a little bit more, if not a lot more. Providing a vulnerable experience that takes a person out of their comfort zone feeds my desire to help people; to help them find a piece of themselves they lost or didn't know existed.

I use the pronouns she/her. I am 100% body positive. I am an award-winning photographer and filmmaker. I'm a New Englander through and through. I love a good hoodie. I have three rad kids. I love kimchi. I whole-heartedly believe in standing up for what you believe is right... no matter where you stand. I love how the light can glisten on a rain drop or shine through hair. I try to see the world in all it's beauty and recognizing all it's pain and darkness as well. Without one there cannot be the other. We've got this one life. Take control and love every single piece of it... including yourself.

Intimate Portrait experiences begin with your $300 booking fee which includes a pre-shoot consultation, professional wardrobe and styling advice, complimentary professional hair and makeup, 60-90 minute experience, and professional retouching of images. Retouching includes removing skin imperfections that are temporary, as with pimples and minor cuts and bruising. Prints and products may be purchased separately. You can expect to spend an average of $1500 for your entire experience.
