Hi.  I'm Erica

My love for preserving moments began when I was a kid.  My parents had these albums full of photographs from a time when I didn't exist.  It was fascinating.  I would spend hours flipping through them, trying to know that time, those people.  I studied their expressions and fell in love with people watching.  I started to do it wherever I went...stealing glances at people who didn't even know I was paying attention, catching a look between two people I had never met.  I got my first camera when I was around 11.  I was gifted my first SLR when I was in my early 20's.  I bought my first DSLR in used condition when I was in my late 30's.  I haven't stopped shooting since.  I still focus on the emotion.  The more raw the better.  The more natural the better.  I gravitate towards boudoir, which is very posed, and the documentarian style, which is just how things are.  I love black and white but some things just translate better in color.  Last year a photographer told me, "Shoot what you love and the rest will follow."  That was the best piece of advice anyone has given me.  So, that's what I do.

You'll find me in Uxbridge, Massachusetts.
